High School Math

  • - This is a part-time opportunity, perfect for those who love teaching, mentoring, and connecting with students.

    - No travel required to student’s home – you are only working from our centers.

  • We are looking for a knowledgeable and patient Math Tutor to work with high school students, helping them to build confidence and mastery in math subjects. The ideal candidate has a strong math background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping students succeed in subjects ranging from Algebra to Calculus. This role involves one-on-one tutoring sessions, tailored support, and providing guidance in problem-solving techniques, homework help, and test preparation.

    • Focused on serving the student’s learning needs.

    • Responsible and responsive work ethic, allowing flexibility for student schedule changes.

    • A completed Bachelor’s degree is required

    • Ability to tutor high school students

    • Prior teaching or tutoring experience is required. Experience with Learning Difference is a plus.

    • Should be able to tutor Math upto Pre-Calculus level

    • Should be able to clear PA background clearances

Testing Proctor - North Hills

The Testing Proctor is responsible for overseeing actual conditions practice testing sessions to ensure a secure, fair, and consistent environment for all test-takers. This role involves closely monitoring students, enforcing testing procedures, and upholding testing integrity. The Testing Proctor must demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a controlled testing environment.

    • Preparation and Setup:

      • Prepare the testing room and materials, ensuring that all equipment (e.g., clocks, seating arrangements, testing booklets) are in place and meet testing requirements.

      • Take attendance and ensure students have the necessary tools/ logins to be able to take the practice test.

      • Review testing rules and procedures with students before beginning the test, clearly explaining any relevant policies (e.g., time limits, permitted materials).

    • Monitoring and Enforcement:

      • Supervise students throughout the testing session, maintaining a quiet and organized environment.

      • Enforce testing guidelines, including prohibiting the use of unauthorized materials and ensuring adherence to time limits.

      • Note/ report any rule violations to maintain the integrity of the practice test.

    • Assistance and Troubleshooting:

      • Provide minimal, permitted assistance as outlined by testing policies, such as clarifying directions but not assisting with test content.

      • Quickly address any technical issues or disruptions (e.g., malfunctioning timers, seating problems) in a calm and effective manner.

    • Documentation and Reporting:

      • Process, file and communicate the test results.

      • Prepare for upcoming testing

  • - Attention to detail, with the ability to follow and enforce testing guidelines precisely.

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected issues effectively.

    • Availability to work Saturdays, early mornings from 8:30 to 12:30pm.

    • Successful completion of any required training sessions and background checks.

Tutoring - North Hills

High School Language Arts/ELA

  • We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Language Arts Tutor to support high school students in developing their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. The ideal candidate is passionate about literature, skilled in teaching analytical writing, and committed to helping students improve their academic performance and confidence. This role involves one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to meet individual student needs, including assistance with reading comprehension, essay writing, grammar, and preparation for standardized tests.
